Hi, I’m Pete, although many people know me as Pete the Mac. I’m originally from Scotland but moved to Leicestershire more than 30 years ago and have proudly called it home ever since.

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I enjoy songs from every decade, but the 80s and 90s are my real favourites. Whether it’s a massive chart hit, a forgotten classic, or a track that brings back special memories, I love discovering great music and sharing it with others.

Over the years I’ve built up a wide range of musical tastes and enjoy everything from pop and rock through to the songs that filled dancefloors and soundtracked some of the best moments of our lives. For me, music is all about bringing people together, creating memories, and putting a smile on people’s faces.

Away from the microphone, I enjoy spending time with my family and making the most of life. When I’m on air, my aim is simple: great music, good company, and a show that listeners can enjoy wherever they are.
